Thank you for shopping with By Tae. We are committed to ensuring your order is carefully prepared and delivered to you as quickly as possible.
Processing Times
As many of our products are handmade, please allow 3–7 business days for order processing before shipment.
Custom and personalized orders may require additional production time. Customers will be notified if extended processing times apply.
Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
Orders are only dispatched once full payment has been received and confirmed.
Proof of payment does not constitute cleared payment. Orders will only enter production and be dispatched once funds reflect in our account.
Shipping Areas
We currently ship throughout South Africa.
Unfortunately, we do not offer international shipping at this time.
Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and the selected shipping method.
Any promotions offering free or discounted shipping will be clearly stated on our website.
Delivery Timeframes
Once your order has been shipped, estimated delivery times are:
- Major cities: 2–5 business days
- Regional areas: 3–7 business days
- Remote areas: 5–10 business days
Please note that these timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on courier operations and delivery location.
Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon successful delivery to the shipping address provided at checkout.
Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, tracking information will be provided where available.
Customers are responsible for monitoring their shipment using the tracking details provided.
Incorrect Shipping Information
Please ensure that all delivery information is accurate before completing your purchase.
By Tae cannot be held responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or additional shipping costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information supplied by the customer.
If a parcel is returned to us due to incorrect delivery details, additional shipping charges will apply to resend the order.
Delays
While we strive to meet all delivery estimates, delays may occasionally occur due to:
- Courier operational issues
- Severe weather conditions
- Public holidays
- High-volume periods
- Events beyond our reasonable control
We appreciate your patience should any unforeseen delays arise.
Damaged or Lost Parcels
If your parcel arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs of the package and products.
If your parcel appears lost in transit, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can assist in liaising with the courier.
